This is a Black Butte Porter clone courtesy of Let’s Brew in Portland, OR.

Grains:
6oz Chocolate
6oz Black
8oz Honey Malt
8oz Light Crystal
4oz Victory

7lbs Light Malt Extract

8oz Malto Dextrin (Dry Malt)

Hops:
1 1/2 oz No. Brewer (Bittering @ 60 min)
1 oz Cascade (Flavor @ 15 min)
1 oz Tettnanger (Aroma @ 1 min)

European Ale Yeast

I brewed this beer using a kit I received for Christmas. I used a 5 gallon glass fermenter with a blow-off tube. I did not use a secondary fermenter. It turned out really well, but I didn’t have a lot to compare it to at the time.
